Hello it's me again just giving you some band-ly updates.
Firstly, and rather importantly (heheh -sniggers-), I'll be off to Shanghai for three weeks from 1 Nov to 21 Nov. So practically, there'll be no erm, me! Haha. I think there'll be a break during one of the weeks (cause almost everybody will be away), so that one shouldn't be a problem. Will let you know again. Anyway, cause I'll get back one week later than most people, so yeah there'll be band and there'll be no me. So sec twos will be in charge!
When sight-reading, try to cover everything. Drumkit parts, ah please, someone go and grab it! Don't be shy shy just try. If got snare part, or timpani, or whatever, still MUST play. If playing so-called 'confirmed' pieces (aka those that I give out parts alr) then play your own parts. If you're free then you try cover my part too. It'll be best if you can try and cover everything, at least the more impt parts cause yes they're important! Must not slack off during sectionals. I think Ms Ng will still come but when there's sectionals without instructor work on your techniques (cause you detoriated DDDD:) and especially sec ones, need to know how to roll already, and all the basic rudiments. Please please please sticking, fix it once and for all! And must know how to crash!!!! There'll be SYF next year with high possibilities of complicated crash parts so must know!! Suspended and everything also!! MUST MUST MUST!!!! Time to buck up already. Sec twos gonna be sec threes, must be even PROER!! Sec ones gonna be sec twos gonna get juniors so must be PRO enough!
Secondly, erm. Well. What ah. I forgot .__. Erm there isn't anything else so far. Well there's this HC band rumour thing (cough) but shall confirm later on.
Yup so basically please get back your old standards! And don't slack off when I'm away. Yup I believe you guys won't :) So guai! Hahaha. Oh, must take care of scores too. Don't lose any. Oh yes, take care of instruments please! Especially the well, practically deceased vibes mallets. They're dying!! And yup. Oh ya return tuners after use back to the cupboard. Oh oh don't forget to return the files after practices. And pack everything and release the timpani pedal!!! Important important!
Anyway, Ms Chong mentioned we may use Hymn for SYF. So well, erm I'll go and distribute parts and when I'm done with that can start practising properly. And I mean it properly! If unsure of anything, try ask me before I leave so you can practise good-ly even when I'm gone. Or any other senior really. Lorraine might still be around, I have no idea.
Yup, and oh yes. One more thing. During the hols later on, do not be late for lunch. As in, you go for lunch, and come back as soon as possible. Do not come late. Yup I think our section is actually ok in this aspect but yep, just as reminder. Someone has to keep watching the time.

MARCHING!
I'm sorry to say, but we have to march. No choice. Yup. It's part of SYF, and this time round must play and march at the same time. So yes, please start. Erm. Haha practising marching? Lol. Erm. Be more serious in marching cause it's a serious thing! It matters! And try not to complain. I know it is tiring and stuff and I'll try to be considerate when doing section marching but it's best for you guys just to give your best shot during drills and faster get it over and done with! Do not regard marching as something stupid because it's actually an SYF thing, which is rather important.
